What kind of fuel usage are you seeing, how the turning compare to other tractors you own. Rides awesome were on 16.9 x 34 and 20.8 x 46. Oooh you will like the suspension, it is awesome, zero power hop. Make sure all updates done, get copy from dealer of all repairs and you should be good. The problems had updated parts but our local dealer keep putting in the old discontinued electronis until my brother got on computer and compared part # and figured out ourselves. Have had a few little bugs w perf monitor and the forward/reverse lever electronics (brain box in armrest area ) all has been resolved a few years back and perfect since then. Were in a area of crappy (understatement ) NH Dealer, near Billings MT. The 230 and 215 had mechanical throttle which for us has been fine. It is a pretty honery pulling tractor and the loader is wicked stout, kinda dwarf a JD 840 loader. Also bought it new with a LB 92 Loader from NH. We have a 04' TG 230 with all the options, 12 Bolts full locker front axle w/ Terra Glide. Would be happy to answer any questions you have. Very satisfied with the performance of our New Hollands. We had three minor repairs in olmost 4000hrs on the TGs. The TGs run 2200 due to the direct mounting of the engine/transmission. The Case MX may be quieter because the only run 2000 at rated RPM. The TGs have quieter and bigger cabs than the new deeres. We have Deere track tractors so have experience with them also. I have alot of hours in the Tg255/285 and also T8040. Amazing how two similar tractors can also be so completely different. The console is different from an MX, and it is just a preference thing, but I like the MX more than the TG. Super steer is cool, but it seems that other manufacturers can get a similar turning radius without all the contraption hanging off the front. Had to clean off the screens twice a day, and never do on the MXs. Had a real issue with the rad screens plugging because the wheels are so far out in front (supersteer ) and they kicked up a lot of wheat and pea straw. Newer were the 305s which are terrible on fuel (rented one last year and it was 2 gph worse than our chipped 255 with about the same power ). Never had trouble with it (MX255 and 285 ) but some have a real hard time with them. Does anyone know the pro's or cons of an NH TG series Tractors? Probably a TG255 or bigger. Ive posted once before on help with some NH tractors.
